Hello, I'm Miya Yoon

I'm a motion designer and animator. I do motion graphics, 2D and 3D character animation, and I handle the sound design and audio for the things I make.

Right now I produce the Pirate Street Journal podcast for Category Pirates, 15 episodes since May 2026. I make the graphics package, edit the episodes, do the audio and music beds, and cut the clips we use for marketing. I also made a recurring character motion graphic series for the show.

Before that I animated the Long Reef Golf Club mascot and did photo retouching and color animation for the Wenona School identity at Made Agency in Sydney. I've also done clean-up animation in Toon Boom Harmony for Big Thumbs Up Productions.

My senior capstone, Animayhem, won Best 3D Animation at Purdue's Computer Graphics showcase. I did the sound design, music, and secondary animation on it.

A lot of motion designers don't do character animation, and a lot of animators don't do sound. I like being able to do both.

​

I'm looking for full-time motion design or animation work.
